Patrons rave about the diverse menu offerings, particularly the freshly made scones and light lunches featuring homemade soups. The option to customize sandwich fillings during afternoon tea is a favorite touch. Customers appreciate the generous potion sizes, ensuring no one leaves hungry. The dog-friendly policy allows guests to bring their furry companions, creating a family-friendly atmosphere.

Additionally, the cozy ambiance, with the fireplace providing warmth during colder months, adds to the charm. Friendly and accommodating staff frequently receive compliments for their welcoming nature and attentiveness, making every visit a pleasure.

Most Disliked

Some guests mention occasional wait times on busy days, especially during peak lunch hours. Reserving a table in advance is advisable to ensure a spot. A few patrons have noted that while the menu is delightful, options could expand further, particularly for those with specific dietary needs beyond what's currently offered. Additionally, noise levels can rise during busy times, making it sometimes hard to enjoy a quiet conversation with friends.

Great place for a light lunch, food and service were excellent. Our dog, Oscar, loved the puppaccino and treats. They even put a table outside for us. Will definitely return.

Was looking for an afternoon tea place and came across this and it didn'tdisappoint. Cozy little place with very welcoming and cheerful staff. The cakes were delicious (can make sugar free ones if requsted when booking) and they have a good selection of tea. Very generous with their potions too😌!

We had a lovely afternoon tea. Its done a bit differently- you get to pick your sandwich filling and huge home made cake. The scones were freshly made too. Theres also the option to add on a bowl of soup. We were stuffed! But they gave us boxes to take the leftovers home. We'll definitely be back.

This place is a hidden gem but well worth visiting. Book in advance cause just turning up at peak times may result in a bit of a wait. However, it is worth the wait if you have to. Today was lunch. I had a chicken and rice soup and a ham, chilli jam and mozzarella panini combo. It was a good as it looks. I followed this with THE best strawberry tart I think I’ve ever had and a pot of Earl Grey tea. It was very reasonably priced for the quality of the food. Staff are attentive and friendly and the service is excellent. Families and dogs are welcome and the setting is beautiful. If you get the good weather like we did then you’re going to feel like you’re dining in paradise.
